Become a Business Jury member

In 2022 the 14th edition of the European Mise en Place Cup (EMCup) will take place which is the most renowned competition between (36) leading European Hotel Management Schools. If you want to become member of the Businness Jury 2022 go to the registration form.


The main goals of this competition are:

  • Building a bridge between hotel management schools and the industry
  • Connecting young professionals to the industry
  • Creating and building long-lasting relationships
  • Providing hands-on experience for students

This year 36 European hotel management schools participate with a team of 4 or 5 students and maximum 2 coaches. With the theme ‘Intrapreneurship – The salvation of our Hospitality DNA?‘ we challenge students to think about how our industry will be future proof again with the changes we have had in the world. Prior to the competition days, each team prepares multiple assignments. During the competition days (13th & 14th of February, Maastricht), the students pitch their ideas and findings in various rounds in front of the Business Jury. This Business Jury is composed of international hotel chains who send one HR representative and one operational representative not only to assess these students, but also to cherry pick the best students for your companies. The competition is a great recruitment tool for you.
